Facial lines can be made to look softer and less pronounced with a variety of materials available over the last several years. We offer a variety of injectible fillers such as Botox® Cosmetic, and Juvéderm® that can reduce the appearance of facial lines with little to no downtime.
Botox® Cosmetic has become quite popular over the past 10 years. Dr. Loutfy, along with Allergan (the makers of the Botox® Cosmetic), feel strongly about the product. That is why we would like our patients to know what this product is about.
Collagen-derived dermal fillers from the laboratory (animals and even humans) are also available. They have the advantage of being readily available and require no additional surgery (no scars on another part of your body). Results can last for several months or even years, depending on the type of filler used. New filler materials such as Juvedérm are showing promise as they have positive and lasting results.
